Voting Rules

You can vote in one of three ways:

- Attend the July 25th meeting.

- Designate a proxy. A proxy is a person you trust to vote on your behalf. A proxy must include your full name and the full name of the person who will vote on your behalf. Proxies must be in writing, so please send them by email to <president@carsoncommunity.org> or by mail to PO Box 101, Carson NM 87571.

- Submit an absentee ballot. An absentee ballot allows you to submit your vote in writing ahead of the meeting, without having to attend the meeting. The downside is that by voting early, you may not be aware of information after you cast your vote, including new agenda items and candidates.

Your absentee ballot must be legible, and must include your name, the name of the item voted on and a "yes" or "no" vote for each, and the name of the position being voted on and the name of the candidate you wish to vote for. You may vote for up to 3 people for Board Member-At-Large, and only 1 person for each officer role. Absentee ballots must be in writing, so please send them by email to <president@carsoncommunity.org> or by mail to PO Box 101, Carson NM 87571.

- Proxies and absentee ballots must be RECEIVED by us by Saturday, July 25th to count.
